Terms of Service

Last Updated: August 2026

At Renew It Shoe Repair (accessible via https://renewitshoerepair.store), these Terms of Service set out the agreement between you and us when you use this website or buy a pair of boots through it.

We have kept them in plain language, because terms nobody can read protect nobody. They cover what we sell, how an order is accepted, how payment works, and where each of the other policies applies, so that women's knee-high boots and Western booties can be bought with a clear idea of what happens next.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to the terms below. If any part of them is unclear, email us at [email protected] before you order and we will be glad to explain it.

1. Overview

These terms apply to every visitor and every customer of our website. Alongside them, the Shipping Policy, the Return & Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy form part of the same agreement.

2. About the Business

Renew It Shoe Repair is a shoe and leather goods repair shop in Nanuet, New York, operating an online store at https://renewitshoerepair.store. In-store repair work and online retail are two separate services run by the same business, and these terms govern the online store.

3. Eligibility

You need to be at least 18 years old, or to be using the site with the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and you need a delivery address within the United States. Placing an order confirms both.

4. Products

We sell ready-made stocked footwear, held here and shipped as it is. Product descriptions, images and specifications are prepared with care, but screens render color differently and no photograph carries the exact weight or finish of a boot in the hand.

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions in listings, and to change or withdraw a product at any time. Availability is not guaranteed until an order is dispatched. If an item sells out after you order it, we tell you promptly and refund in full.

5. Pricing

Prices are in US Dollars and can change without notice. A change never affects an order already confirmed. Where a price is listed in obvious error, for example a decimal point in the wrong place, we may cancel affected orders and refund them in full rather than hold you to a figure nobody intended.

6. Orders and Acceptance

An order placed on the website is an offer to buy. The confirmation email acknowledges that we have received it, and the contract is formed when we dispatch the goods. We may decline an order where stock has run out, where payment cannot be verified, or where a listing carried an obvious error.

7. Payment and Billing

Payment is taken in full at checkout through the PayPal gateway, which accepts PayPal balances, debit cards and credit cards. By submitting payment you confirm you are authorized to use the method chosen. Charges are one-time, and nothing is set up on a recurring basis.

If a payment is declined, no order is created and nothing is charged. A pending authorization sometimes appears on the account for a short period and is released by the issuer. We cooperate with card issuers on chargeback inquiries and ask that you contact us first, since most disputes turn out to be something we can resolve directly and faster. Accepted methods are listed on the Payment Policy page.

8. Shipping

Rates, handling times, transit estimates and carrier arrangements are set out in the Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are carrier figures rather than guarantees, and we act on delays as soon as we can see them.

9. Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations

Returns, exchanges, refunds, and changes or cancellations made before dispatch are all governed by the Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. In-Store Repair Services

Repair work carried out at our counter is agreed in person, quoted before work begins, and is not sold or contracted through this website. These terms, and the online return terms in particular, apply to online retail orders only.

11. Acceptable Use

Please use the site for its purpose: browsing, ordering and contacting us. Do not attempt to interfere with the site or its security, scrape it systematically, submit false orders, or use it in any way that breaks federal, state or local law.

12. Intellectual Property

The text, product photographs, logo, page layouts and design elements on this website are owned by us or used under license. You are welcome to view pages, print them for your own reference and share links. Copying our photographs or copy onto another store, republishing our material commercially, or presenting it as your own is not permitted without written consent. Marks belonging to other parties remain their property and appear here only where a description requires them.

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act containing all six of the following.

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for them
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed
  3. Identification of the material on our site you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it, such as the page address
  4. Your contact details: name, mailing address and email address
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf

We review every notice promptly. Where it appears valid, the material comes down or is disabled while the matter is looked at, and we notify whoever posted it. If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address giving your signature, identification of the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, your name and mailing address and email address, a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your district or for Rockland County, New York if your address is outside the United States, and a statement that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice. Where the law allows, material may be restored 10 to 14 business days later unless the original complainant files a court action.

Access is terminated for anyone who repeatedly submits infringing material. Section 512(f) makes a person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, liable for damages including costs and legal fees, so please be sure of your position before filing either kind of notice.

13. Third-Party Links

Our pages sometimes link to sites we do not control, such as carrier tracking pages and our payment processor. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data, and their own terms apply once you leave our site.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and its content are provided as they are. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about uninterrupted access, freedom from errors, or fitness for a particular purpose. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, and it does not affect our commitments under the Return & Refund Policy.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability arising from your use of the website or from any product bought through it is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue, lost data or lost opportunity.

16. Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless from claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising out of your misuse of the website or your breach of these terms.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Rockland County, New York.

18. Severability

If any provision here is found unenforceable, it is severed and the remaining provisions stay in force.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The revision month is shown under the title, and the version in force for your order is the one published at the time you placed it.

Questions About These Terms

If any clause on this page affects a decision you are about to make, ask us before you order rather than afterwards.
